Things

  1. It doesn’t matter who you are, whether you’re a doctor, CPA, lawyer, janitor, professor, or driver. What matters is how you treat people.
  2. Practice what you preach. Especially at home, kids barely listen to words; they’re more attentive to what you’re really doing. So don’t go around throwing words of kindness or respect to your kids if you are not even practicing it. This applies generally. Just giving emphasis to some parents.
  3. Never ask someone to violate something for you just because you know them personally.
  4. It’s never too late for an apology. Never.
  5. Admit it when you’re wrong.
  6. Compliment people when you found something nice or good about them on that moment, you’re probably making their day.
  7. Stand up to bullies.
  8. There are always two sides in every story. Delay your judgment until you know both sides.
  9. Forgive yourself for your mistakes.
  10. Date yourself once in a while.
  11. No phones while eating. Respect the food.
  12. Don’t litter. Learn how to segregate trash, you’re not a kid.
  13. Don’t be a yes person.
  14. Make goals, objectives, or missions. Write them.
  15. If you have to fight. Fight with Him at your side.
  16. Never try drugs.
  17. Looking at one’s heart is never a waste of time.
  18. Be a good listener.
  19. Appreciate other people’s talents and works.
  20. Let your success make noise, work in silence.
